Our Maclay Finals weeks was amazing! And just like that indoors 2022 is a wrap!

Kyra, congratulations on a fantastic finals season. You were poised, smooth and thoughtful every time you walked in the ring. You worked hard to care for your horse and stay focused on schoolwork all at the same time.

In five months you qualified for and competed in 8 different Equitation Championships. We set goals and far exceeded them. You rose to each occasion and delivered beautiful rounds. To say I am proud, is an understatement. It has truly been my privilege to help you and Quin and stand with you at the gate; dad jokes and problem-solving every step of the way.

A special thank you to the entire Jones family. It’s surely been a team effort.

A frigid but FUN day at Morven Park for the WIHS Regional Show. Kathryn and Sassoon braved the cold and brought home a tri color!! Congratulations to Kathryn on a fabulous day!!

We had a great trip to Harrisburg for the Dover Saddlery USEF Hunt Seat Medal Finals!! It was a challenging track that asked a lot of hard questions. Kyra and Quin rose to the occasion and showed us their hard work and dedication from the summer, truly paid off. We are over the moon, proud. Congratulations, Kyra! Up next, NCEA Finals. 😍😍

We couldn’t be more proud of Kyra Jones for her Capital Challenge 2022 performance. She rode smoothly and thoughtfully all week and took on the challenges with a positive attitude! Most notably she finished 12th in an age group o/f class.

Next stop 🔜 Dover Medal Finals!

We had a lovely week at Middleburg Classic.

Special mention to Kathryn Harrell @kathrynharrell687 and Sassoon for their 4th place in a hugely competitive u/s class and great riding o/f.

Also, kudos to @bertharrell Edward Harrell’s Trait’s Ivo for earning an o/f prize in a big group of Middleburg Hunters with Brett in the tack. 🤩

Merlino PL had a great week in the 3’ Green Hunters. He enjoyed playing in the big ring with the big kids 😋 Brett also had the privilege of riding @kargo_chan Kate Chan’s, My Style, to great prizes in the Baby Green Hunters. Thanks to Kate and @cavallofarm_ Michael Bertozzi for the opportunity!

Home from Maryland Horse and Pony Show, but still on cloud 9 from a fantastic week!!

Highlights include Qualifying for Maclay Finals., Class Wins, MHSA Equitation prizes and tons of smiles.

The PL family extends a warm welcome to Kathryn and Edward Harrell and their horses Sassoon and Traits Ivo. Both horses had a wonderful show this week, including an over fences win for Kathryn!!

We definitely need to take a moment to thank Alan @alanlohman1 and Jessica Lohman @jessilohman and Kori Pickett @koreyepick for their absolute rockstar management. The hospitality at this horse show is the best in the country- There is nothing like it. We are privileged and pleased to participate and support this fabulous show.
