Loudoun Benefit Horse Show

The PL crew had a wonderful week under the oaks at Loudoun Benefit. We are so grateful to the management and staff for such a great week. Special thank you to Alyssa @alyglu99 for all her hard work in helping us during the last two weeks!

Natascha Folens and Parfait

Another great day at Upperville. Natascha Folens and Parfait win a red ribbon in the middle adult u/s and an eighth over fences. Congratulations. What a success!

Upperville Results

Fantastic results for Merlino PL and Brett in the 3, 4 & 5 year old Hunters today at Upperville!! The pair were 2nd and 4th over fences and 5th in the under saddle. We could not be more impressed with this truly talented young horse. He is so special and we love him with all our heart 🖤🖤🖤

So much love and appreciation for the team that helped get them to the ring. This is a team sport and we have THE BEST team.

Also a huge congratulations to Natasha Folens’, Parfait. He had beautiful rounds in the local hunters yesterday. This was his first time showing 3’ at a recognized show and he handled the ambience of this beautiful venue.

Morven Park Results

Natascha Folens & Parfait competed at 3’ for the first time and had great trips including earning 7th in the hunter derby and win the working hunter u/s.

Annie Sikorski and Sunshine Girl moved up a height in the jumpers and had some speedy rounds, winning a 4th in a huge class of Low Jumpers. Brooke Mallin and Bogota Car won a pair of 5th place ribbons in the low jumpers. Sandra Ranke and Lincara TWF moved up a division and had super smooth rounds in the low jumpers.

And the PL crew welcomed Lauri Garrett and her horse Rashford’s Double to the group. Lauri brought home a 2nd place in the thoroughbred u/s while Brett earned prizes over fences.

Merlino PL Lexington Spring Encore

Merlino PL wrapped up a great week at the Lexington Spring Encore bringing home great prizes over fences today in a super competitive group of 18, 3’ green hunters. Thank you to the management and staff at VHC. Merlino PL is proudly offered for sale. 🖤🖤🦄🦄🖤🖤

The first Morven Park show of the season

The Penny Leigh crew had a great day at the first Morven Park show of the season. We had such a good time we barely took any pictures 🤦🏻‍♀️ Natascha Folens’ Parfait earned top ribbons with Brett in the schooling hunters, and with Natascha in the Green hunters. Annie Sikorski had a great day with both her horses, Stellar Affair and Sunshine Girl. EDIT- Sunshine was 1st & 2nd in HUGE classes!! Swipe to check out a clip of her in the jumper ring. Sandra Ranke was all smiles after smooth trips in the hopeful jumpers. EDIT- 3rd & 4th for Lincara TWF and Sandra 🤩 Check her out too! Last but not least, Brooke Mallin and Bogota Car were CHAMPION in the hopeful jumpers!! We are infinitely proud of all the clients and horses today. It was a fantastic start to the season. Thank you to Samantha Franklin for running our local favorite. Great to see everyone!! 🖤🦄🖤🦄🖤

Congratulations Kyra and Quinlan Ace

Congratulations @kkequestrian Kyra Jones!!! She and Quinlan Ace were 4th out of 30 in the WEC Jr/Am Derby today! 🤩🤩🤩

This week we have the pleasure of hosting Kyra Jones and her horse Quinlan Ace. Kyra had a great start to the weekend earning first and second over fences, to win the championship in the 15-17 equitation. Looking forward to the next two weekends helping this pair🤩🤩

TWO IN A ROW for Merlino PL!

TWO IN A ROW for Merlino PL. Winning 3 classes and placing 2nd in the others, Morrie earns 42 points for the Championship in the 2’9” young hunters for the second week in a row. This superstar youngster makes us so proud. Special thanks to the team of folks that cheer, coach & counsel us to these wins. This IS a team sport, y’all.
