Blue Rock Classic Horse Show

Our second week at Swan Lake Stables for the Blue Rock Classic was a huge success! A few highlights include…

  • Christine Nagin and her horse, Over Achiever, Champion in the middle adult hunters, and GRAND Champion Adult Hunter!
  • Irene Boehm and Pablo riding to top prizes in the .9m and 1.0m Jumpers, including a win in the Stake class!
  • Savannah Shaver and Bon Temps earned top prizes in the Giddings equitation, THIS medal and the younger children’s hunters.
  • Kate Chan’s, My Type earned top prizes in the USHJA hunters with both Brett and Kate in the irons.
  • Merlino PL earned great prizes in the 3‘3“ green hunters as well as fifth place in the $10,000 hunter classic.
Thank you to the management staff for a wonderful two weeks.

St. Christopher’s Horse Show

Not only were Savannah and Bon Temps Champion, they were GRAND CHILDREN’S HUNTER CHAMPION at St. Christopher’s Horse Show!!

Swan Lake Stables

Our week at Swan Lake Stables for the St. Christopher’s show was awesome. A few highlights include……

  • Savannah & Bon Temps earning the CHAMPIONSHIP in the Younger Children’s Hunters by winning 3 classes, as well as 🥈 in both the Giddings and THIS medals.
  • Merlino PL and Brett finished 🥉 in the $10,000 open hunter classic.
  • Irene Boehm’s Pablo sped to 🥈 and 🥉 in the .8m jumpers.

Rose Mount Spring Horse Show

Rose Mount Spring Horse Show was a huge success for the PL team!!

Christine Nagin and Over Achiever won the junior amateur derby and won prizes in the Rose Mount hunters. Welcome to the PL family, Christine!

Savannah Shaver and Bon Temps were 🥈 in the THIS Medal, 🥉VHSA Children’s Medal and 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th in the younger children’s hunters. Hard work is paying off!

Merlino PL and Brett were 🥈 in the National Hunter Derby and 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th in the 3’3” Green Hunters. We are thrilled with this special young horse!

Special thank you to the team at Rose Mount Farm Horse Show for hosting us at your beautiful farm. There is nothing like showing in Virginia. There is not a better community anywhere.

WEC Ocala

We are safely home from our time at WEC Ocala and want to take a moment to reflect and reminisce on a wonderful season! All the horses and riders won prizes and everyone came home happy & healthy!! Congratulations to each pair-
