In addiion to winning Best Turned Out, Kate & Bodhi earned in last nights WIHS Regional Hunter Finals!!!

Audrey Quinn & Worth Quoting earned reserve champion in the Older 3’3” Junior Hunters
Congratulations to Kate Chan & Fan Favorite! High score of 88 in the Adult Hunters
Lexi Cawood & Mon Ami won top prizes in the younger children’s hunters as well as a 4th place in the combined Classic
Karen Iovino & Royal Pilot had fabulous rounds in the Local Hunters, earning 5th & 7th over fences
Special thank you to the Lohman’s for hosting such a lovely week!

VHSA Finals Recap

Lots of hard work culminated with a 5th place finish on the Flat & 8th place finish Over Fences for Irene and Svengali in the VHSA Finals.
Irene also participated in the Horsemanship Challenge where she finished 6th after posting a score of 89 on the written test and a PERFECT 💯 in the practicum!!
We as a PL Family are so proud of Irene for her incredible dedication and hard work. We wish her ALL THE LUCK as she embarks on her next chapter at Sewanee.
Once you’re part of the PL family, you’re always part of the PL family.

Penny Leigh had an amazing week at HITS Culpepper!

🦄Kate & Fan Favorite earning Reserve Champion in the Middle Adult Hunters! Brett and Bodhi also brought home the Championship in the 3’ Green Hunters winning 3 of 4 jumping classes.
🦄Lexi & Mon Ami earning top prizes as well as a third place in the combined children’s Hunter classic. Brett and Frenchie also earned top prizes in the USHJA 3’.
🦄Irene and Svengali were reserve champion in the 3’6” Junior hunters and 8th in the USHJA National Derby out of 38!
🦄Khory and Royal Pilot won a class in the Low Children’s Hunters!
🦄Haley and Bernie jumped in top form in the 1.10m Amateur jumpers!
🦄Merlino PL & Brett jumped clear to bring home 3rd & 6th in 1.20m!
🦄Catie and Tor won the Maclay and earned 3rd in the Jump Seat.

Highlights include…..
6th place finish for Haley Carspecken & Get Out in the 1.10 amateur jumpers!
Clear rounds in the 1.0m and a 10th place for Christine Nagin & Lincara TWF!
Fast and clear for 5th place for Merlino PL & Brett in the 1.15m!
We capped off the week gathering to watch the FEI class on Sunday. World class show Jumping right in our back yard!

Rose Mount Spring

Rose Mount Spring was a fantastic week for the PL Crew 🌟🌟🌟
⭐️ Kate Chan and her new horse Fan Favorite were RESERVE CHAMPION in the Low Adult Hunters!! Brett was also RESERVE CHAMPION with him in the 3’ Green Hunters!
⭐️Irene Boehm continued her success in the Equitation classes with WINS in the MHSA, USEF, MACLAY & VHSA Equitation on the flat. She was also Reserve Champion in the Open 3’3” hunters.
⭐️ Merlino PL & Brett earned top prizes in the 3’3” performance.
