Rose Mount Spring was a fantastic week for the PL Crew 🌟🌟🌟
⭐️ Kate Chan and her new horse Fan Favorite were RESERVE CHAMPION in the Low Adult Hunters!! Brett was also RESERVE CHAMPION with him in the 3’ Green Hunters!
⭐️Irene Boehm continued her success in the Equitation classes with WINS in the MHSA, USEF, MACLAY & VHSA Equitation on the flat. She was also Reserve Champion in the Open 3’3” hunters.
⭐️ Merlino PL & Brett earned top prizes in the 3’3” performance.

Back in Virginia after 6 Weeks in Florida

Now that we are safely back in Virginia after 6 weeks in Florida, I want to take a moment to talk about the team! None of this is possible without our amazing team. I want to wholeheartedly every one of you who contributes to our success.

Special mention to Victor Piña, who kept the horses and Farm at home in top shape while we went to Florida. Also to Taylor O’Connor who joined us this season teaching while Brett traveled south.

Thank you to Sue Jarboe, who kept us laughing and smiling through the chaos that was winter circuit.

Brett Shear-Heyman, Horsewoman Brett is active in the sales community and enjoys developing horses into competitors. She takes pride in finding each client their perfect horse and will guide clients through the buying process. The very first step to success in the sport is a proper pairing and Brett stays connected to her network of professionals around the country to source the best inventory of horses for anyone on the hunt.

Brett believes in constant education within the sport. She continues to cultivate skills and experiences by regularly working with other professionals to both train horses in her program as well as collaborate to learn new techniques to share with her clients. She is devoted and detailed.

Our week at Rose Mount Farm

Our week at Rose Mount Farm was a scorcher 🔥😂🔥😂🔥😂

Not only was the weather toasty, but the PL crew was on fire with several tri colors and big class wins!

💙 Savannah Shaver finished 🥈 in the zone 3 Sandy Gerald Equitation Championship!! She capped off her weekend with fabulous trips in the Younger Children’s Hunters and 3’ medals Congrats Savannah!

💙 My Type & Kate Chan won an over fences class in a huge group of Low Adult Hunters! Bowie was also champion in the Rose Mount Hunters with Brett in the irons.

💙 Irene Boehm & Svengali won the VHSA Equitation on the flat and had strong equitation rounds all weekend! Irene also had great rounds with Pablo in the high children’s jumpers.

💙 Merlino PL was champion in the 3’3” Green Hunters with Brett in the irons!


HUGE Thank you to the staff and Management at Rose Mount Farm. The Hospitality is unmatched and we are grateful!!


Also a special mention for Sue Jarboe and Victor Piña. Sue keeps us all clean, organized and cared for on the road. Victor is our rock at home. Our horses are meticulously managed by both of these amazing people.
